As we say goodbye to Taurus season, it’s time to see what’s being growing in the dark. Are you ready to open up what you’ve tucked away for a rainy day? The mysteries of perðro await, and it really might surprise you what has been able to do its thing without you poking around in the dirt trying to make something happen when it wasn’t time yet. This could be something that you’ve been mulling over, a problem to solve or knot to untangle that is finally loosening for you. But it could also be something more literal, perhaps a plant or even a small little bond that you’ve let grow over time. It could even be a relationship that needed some cooling off after things got too hot. Forgetting about something isn’t the same as neglect if it needs time to be by itself in the dark, working away. Similarly, remembering it doesn’t mean that it’s time to put it to use. But do check in and make sure everything is going the way it should be. Make any necessary tweaks if needed, and then decide if it needs more time to ripen.

If you added a little too much acid to your day yesterday, you might not be thrilled to see Vinegar today, but Vinegar serves multiple functions. One of these is preservation and maintenance. Vinegar as an apothecary tool can help effects linger and be doled out over time, as with a vinegar infusion. Just remember that it’s not the most pleasant flavor, and you might not win a lot of friends with your slow and steady approach. But that’s okay. We don’t have to delight others all the time, and there’s plenty to experience with the self and Nature today. Vinegar, it should be noted, is one of those bizarre ingredients that somehow both heats and reduces heat (inflammation), offering a nice regulatory function, and that seems important for balancing the intensity of the energies coming in today. Sundays always have the potential for fun and play, and that’s especially true today with the numerical card of the day as the Sun (19) in the larger spread. But it’s really important to dole that out, not unlike that lightning in a bottle from earlier in the week. Lessons from those days of Jars could be coming back with some new perspective.

A balanced approach will be required for seeing your way through some of the day’s murkiness. It feels a little dark and gloomy, but Measuring Spoons radiate the full color spectrum, and Le Pape feels like an unusually bright point of color in the larger spread. Given that, remember to look for that moments of light and levity. See the full spectrum experience in the day and try to bring something fresh to balance out the grey or the heaviness. Like a dash of spice in a recipe, add some salt with the sweet or acid with what’s heavy. Punch it up a little, be it finding the sweetness in a bitter day or taking some time out to reframe some things that you don’t like the look of on the surface. Don’t be afraid to experiment if needed, but remember that you don’t need to make big changes or add a ton of new ingredients to make a difference. Add slowly and in proportion as needed. A little can go a long way today, but make sure to flavor your day because it looks “no sauce” on the face of it.
